RESTAURANTS DESTROYED IN APOLLO BAY FIRE A shopping strip in a popular Victorian beachside town has been gutted by an enormous blaze this morning, with dozens of people evacuated from a nearby motel. Fire crews were called to the scene on Collingwood Street in Apollo Bay about 3.17am on Wednesday. One restaurant was engulfed by flames and this spread to neighbouring businesses.
