Peroneus longus is one of our favorite muscles of the lower leg (although we have many 😂🤓)! All of the Peroneal muscles help stabilize the outside of the ankle and evert the foot (tilt outwards) but Peroneus Longus wraps under the foot and inserts on the long bone behind the big toe.
